Walkathon organised to promote 'Healthy Knees for All'

New Delhi [India], Feb. 18 (ANI): A walkathon witnessed more than 600 participants from all walks of life, in order to create awareness on 'Bone Health'.

Organised by Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, the walkathon took place in the morning hours of Sunday, February 18.

It was a 1.5 km walk round trip and flagged off from Metro Walk, Rohini and witnessed participation to spread awareness on 'Healthy Knees for All'.

The event also saw participation from senior citizens, who have undergone fast-track knee replacement surgery, giving encouragement to those participants who are currently facing advanced knee joint problems.

The walkathon was followed by an interactive session where patients shared their journey of successful recovery after being treated under the fast-track approach.

The walk was led by Dr. Amite Pankaj Aggarwal from Fortis Hospital. (ANI)
