Vidya Balan steals the show in 'Begum Jaan' trailer

New Delhi [India], Mar.14 (ANI): Recently, Bollywood has been making a number of 'women' oriented movies. Continuing the tradition, the 'Begum Jaan's' trailer got released earlier in the day and this should definitely go on your watch list. The trailer starts with Amitabh Bachchan's voice narrating the situation about India-Pakistan partition and how the LoC was meant to cross from within the brothel of Begum Jaan, played by Vidya Balan. The trailer proceeds with sheer brilliant acting skills of Vidya, who can be seen looking intense and fearless, delivering strong dialogues. The surprise package of the trailer was Naseeruddin Shah as King and Chunky Panday in a never-seen-before avatar. The movie talks about fight of the women, who defy the governments trying to destroy their home so that they can make a division between the countries. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt, the film is helmed by National Award winning director Srijit Mukherji, who is making his Bollywood debut with this Vidya Balan-starrer. The film is an adaptation of Srijit's Bengali movie 'Rajkahini'. The flick is slated to release on April 14 and also stars Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor and Ashish Vidyarthi.
