Teenager growing up in Kashmir has vast variety of opinion, views: Zaira Wasim
Mumbai [India], Feb. 9 (ANI): The 'Dangal' girl Zaira Wasim has been in news for different reasons in the recent past. Yesterday, she was spotted at the book launch event of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and author-critic Anupama Chopra's daughter Zuni Chopra's 'The House that Spoke,' where Zaira shared her thoughts on the difference between a teenager's growing up in Kashmir and one from any other part of India. According to the 16-year-old star, there is no such difference between the two, other than the fact that the one, growing up in Kashmir, has vast variety of opinion and views. "Now a 16-year-old there (in Kashmir) is as similar as the one you will meet in Mumbai or Delhi. There's not a huge difference. To some extent you might see a vast variety of opinion and views they have. They have different stories to tell you, they have their own ideas about almost everything. Apart from that ideology, you won't see vast difference," she said. Adding, "I live in my own zone. My life is a little different from what a 16-year-old's life should be. I never went out much. I have heard stories from my father that they used to go here and there. There is a huge hill right next to my house and I have never been there." On a related note, other than Zuni's parents Vinod Chopra and Anupama Chopra, the event was graced by Reliance founder and chairperson Nita Ambani. (ANI)
