Shraddha becomes 1st actress among contemporaries to do biopic

Dhoni: The Untold Story', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and many other films being super hits among the audiences, there are very few actresses who have ventured into portraying a real life character on the silver screen so far. However, with Haseena Parkar's biopic, Shraddha Kapoor becomes the first actress from her contemporaries to do a biopic. Playing a real life character is not an easy task and requires an in depth study of the person, looking into intricate details, bringing out the most nuanced performance. The 30-year-old has taken it up to portray on the big screen, the fierce Haseena Parkar, who is the sister of the underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. This generation is known for choosing their scripts wisely and experimenting with diverse, out-of-the-box content.
