Nargis Fakhri quashes rumours of leaving India
New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Actor Nargis Fakhri has refuted rumours suggesting that she was quitting Bollywood and said that she would soon return to India to promote her upcoming film 'Banjo'. Nargis, 36, took to her Twitter handle to write, "Lookin forward 2finishing my assignment in daUS &being back 2start promoting #Banjo in a few weeks!#noplanstoquit #allelsearebaselessrumours." Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that the actress has left India for a "good" and is unlikely to come back and is planning to settle down permanently in the United States. If rumours are to be believed, the actress suffered a nervous breakdown following her split with the actor boyfriend Uday Chopra and since then she had stayed away from all promotional activities of her films 'Azhar' and 'Housefull 3', thus creating speculations that she has left India. Nargis, who made her Bollywood debut with the 2011 movie 'Rockstar', is known for her work in movies 'Madras Cafe', 'Main Tera Hero', 'Azhar' and 'Housefull 3'. Starring Riteish Deshmukh in lead role, 'Banjo' is slated to hit theatres on September 23. (ANI)
