Looking forward to decisions of new CBFC Chief Joshi: Kalki Koechlin
By- Pallavi Soni New Delhi [India], August 15 (ANI): Hailing the central government's decision of appointing noted lyricist Prasoon Joshi as the chairman of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Bollywood actor Kalki Koechlin said that she is looking forward to the opinions of Joshi and newly appointed member Vidya Balan. During an exclusive conversation with ANI, the 'Margarita with a straw' actress said, "Congratulations to both Prasoon Joshi and Vidya Balan. It's wonderful to have such respectable members of our film community on the board. I am looking forward to their opinions and decisions." National Award winning actress Vidya Balan was on Friday appointed as part of the reconstituted Central Board of Film Certification. Kalki was yesterday in the national capital to launch the teaser of her upcoming travel based flick 'Jia Aur Jia.' Richa Chadha and Rajeev Khandelwal were also present at the event. The film will depict the story of two strangers, played by Kalki and Richa, who go on a life changing road trip. For the unversed, Pahlaj Nihalani, who was under the radar for the recent cuts and censorship in movies, was sacked on August 11 as the CBFC chief. Joshi will take the charge for the next three years. (ANI)
