I don`t deserve to win this year: Ranbir Kapoor at Stardust Awards
Mumbai [India], Dec. 20 (ANI): Always vocal about his views, Ranbir Kapoor has been one such person who has never shied away from accepting his defeat and failure. The 34-year-old actor, who has been out of focus for quite a long time in 2016, feels that he does not deserve to win an award this year. However, he has delivered a successful 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' this Diwali! "I honestly feel that I don't deserve to win this year. There are superior performances. There's Amit Ji, Salman Khan, Sushant- they have done some wonderful performances. They are more deserving than I am," he said on the red carpet of Stardust Awards last night. While informing the media here about his performance at the event, Ranbir said that he is looking forward for the evening as "My father (Rishi Kapoor) is winning an award, which means a lot to me, for 'Kapoor and Sons'." Other than this, the 'Rockstar' had the official poster release of his much awaited Anurag Basu directed flick 'Jagga Jasoos' yesterday. Its makers, UTV Motion Pictures, took to their official Twitter handle to share the poster and wrote alongside, "Sometimes, the fastest getaway is an Ostrich! Enter the #WorldofJagga tomorrow! #JaggaJasoos #RanbirKapoor #KatrinaKaif" The poster, which shows the lead pair Ranbir and Katrina Kaif riding ostriches, gives a hint to the fun elements in the movie. On the same note, though the two have called it quits in real life, their chemistry on screen, evident through the poster, will be a treat for the audience to watch. Promising it to be a great family entertainer, the film is set to release on April 7, 2017. (ANI)
