Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about navigating the moral conflict between law and justice while portraying police officer Ajooni in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Daayra’, saying the film explores a space where the truth is not always simply black and white.

In a conversation with ANI, Mandakini said her experience of working with Raj Kapoor was very different from that of working with other directors later in her career, whom she felt were more focused on completing films rather than creating them.

Despite being a newcomer to the industry in the 1980s, Mandakini’s portrayal of Ganga left a lasting impact on audiences and established her as one of the prominent actresses of her era. However, her rise to fame also brought intense public attention, with several sequences from ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ becoming the subject of discussion and controversy over the years.

“I took a voluntary exit from the show because of my health. When you watch the show, you will come to know. I won my stunt, but after that I thought I didn’t want to continue because if there is electrocution or current in any upcoming stunt, it triggers my elbow pain excruciatingly.”
