New Delhi, July 7 (ANI): Here's an announcement for all the Fawad Khan-fans in India, keep your weekends free for almost a month as a festival dedicated to the 'Khoobsurat' actor is kicking off this weekend. An initiative of 'Zindagi TV' (an Indian channel that exclusively airs popular Pakistani content), the 'Fawad Khan Festival' will run from July 9 to August 7, reports the Dawn. The festival will re-run all the hit TV serials of the 34-year-old actor- 'Numm,' 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' and of course, 'Humsafar.' According to the schedule, 'Humsafar' will be aired on July 9 (Saturday) and July 10 (Sunday), 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' will be aired on July 17 (Sunday) and July 24 (Sunday) and 'Numm' on July 31 (Sunday) and August 7 (Sunday). Adding on to this, the channel has organised for #FawadFestival contest, where viewers will be able to send their messages to their heartthrob through Whatsapp. On work front, as reported by a popular daily, it is abuzzed that Fawad has been offered his maiden solo hero project by filmmaker Karan Johar. If reports are to be believed, sources said that Sidharth Malhotra was initially considered for the role. But, later, when KJo approached the actor, he immediately agreed to be part of it. Looks like, after working together in 'Kapoor & Sons' and upcoming film, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and co-hosting an IIFA event this year at Madrid, both Karan and Fawad get along like a house on fire.
