`Bruised` Sonakshi feels `battle scars` are meant to be worn with pride

New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): Bollywood's Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen doing hard core action scenes in the upcoming movie 'Akira', recently got bruised while shooting an action sequence. Posting a picture of her bruised arm on Instagram, Sonakshi, 29, wrote, "Nope, i dint tattoo the map of USA on my arm. That is an actual bruise from shooting action for #Akira. From kicking ass. Black and blue for real. Bruised and battered but never given up. (Its gone now dont worry) #nopainnogain #battlescars #toughgirl #bossgirl #throwback." Sharing the same picture on Twitter, she shared, "Battlescars r meant to be worn with pride! A memento frm when i was shooting an action scene for #Akira!" Instead of cribbing about the injury, brave Sona wore her battle-scars like victory medals. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, 'Akira' is being produced by Fox Star Studios and will hit theatres on September 2. (ANI)
