'Begum Jaan' made her 'complete actor,' feels Gauhar

Basking in the success of her latest Srijit Mukherji directed film, Gauhar, who played the character named Rubina, feels like a complete actor, "in many ways." While speaking to ANI here, at the India Runway Week (IRW) Spring/Summer, season 8, the actress said, "I feel I am complete actor in many ways after 'Begum Jaan.' Ofcourse, every time you do something new, you grow. I can't stop thanking Srijit sir (director Srijit Mukherji) for giving me the opportunity. I thank Vidya Balan for making my dream come true. She is and will always be my superstar." When asked about her feeling after getting huge appreciation for the movie, Gauhar said that she is on top of the world. "Life after 'Begum Jaan' is beautiful. It couldn't have been better. I am appreciated everywhere I am going. I am on top of the world," she said. On a related note, the 33-year-old actress walked the ramp for the designer duo Vinita and Chetan on the second day of the ongoing India Runway Week. Vinita and Chetan, with the collection, introduced their interpretation of 'Upside Down.' The evening was marked with glitz and grandeur, with models strutting down the runway, donning the cutting edge collection. (ANI)
