"Means so much to us," says KL Rahul as Delhi Capitals team celebrate the birth of his baby girl

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 25 (ANI): March 24, 2025, will always hold a special place in cricketer KL Rahul's life as he became father to a baby girl on this date. Adding more memorable touch to his day, his IPL team, Delhi Capitals, registered their first thumping victory against Lucknow Supergiants last night.
After winning the match, KL Rahul's team members congratulated him on being blessed with the daughter.
The official X handle of DC celebrated the "extension" of the DC family in style, welcoming the baby with coach Hemang Badani, Skipper Axar Patel, mentor Kevin Pietersen, Tristan Stubbs and Jake Fraser McGurk being among those in the video making the cradling gesture to welcome KL's baby with wife and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty.

Reacting to this cute gesture, KL, who skipped the match due to the birth of his child, thanked the "lads."
"Lads, this means so much to us thanks a million," KL Rahul commented.
New mommy in town, Athiya, dropped a string of red hearts in the comment section.
Athiya, on Monday evening, took to Instagram and announced the arrival of her daughter with a cute post.
She posted a painting of two swans with a message that read, "Blessed with a baby girl".
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot on January 23, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala.
In November 2024, Athiya and KL Rahul announced their pregnancy, sharing an adorable post that read,"Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025," accompanied by baby feet emojis. (ANI)
