Invisible Kingdom

Washington DC [USA], July 18 (ANI): Dark Horses Comics and Berger Books are coming up with a new sci-fi comic 'Invisible Kingdom'.
The new comic series, will see G. Willow Wilson -- co-creator of Ms. Marvel -- collaborating with Christian Ward, best known for his 'Black Bolt' series.

According to a report by Hollywood Reporter, Invisible Kingdom is a story of two women in a far-off galaxy, one a fighter pilot and the other a religious acolyte, together uncovering a conspiracy connecting the galaxy's dominant religion and corporation.
Talking about working with her mentor and iconic comic editor Karen Berger, who earlier edited her first comic project, Wilson said, "It's a delight to be working with my mentor Karen Berger once again, especially on such an exciting project."
Sharing her experience on working with Christian Ward, Wilson further said, "Christian Ward's art is truly visionary - this is one of the most dynamic collaborations I've ever been involved with. I can't wait to show the world what we've cooked up."
The series will see Christian Ward coming back to creator-owned work.
"I'm thrilled not only to be returning to a big creator-owned sci-fi but to be working with Karen Berger and G. Willow Wilson. Karen's amazing career has helped to shape me as a creator, and with Willow, I don't think there's anyone today who writes with more warmth, humor or humanity. Nobody writes better, more relatable characters than her! We're already buzzing with excitement about all the weird and wonderful places that we're taking this whole new assemble of instantly lovable characters. I hope you join us as we go somewhere amazing," the Hollywood reporter quoted the statement of Christian Ward.
The series will be launched in March 2019. (ANI)
