Washington DC, [USA] sep 14 (ANI): Hollywood actor Cynthia Nixon who was recently lost in the bid for the office of the New York governor to incumbent candidate Andrew Cuomo, said that she was not discouraged but rather inspired after the defeat.

Washington DC, [USA] sep 14 (ANI): Hollywood actor Cynthia Nixon who was recently lost in the bid for the office of the New York governor to incumbent candidate Andrew Cuomo, said that she was not discouraged but rather inspired after the defeat.
Nixon took to Twitter to thank her fans for believing in her and wrote," We started something here in New York, and it doesn't end today. This is just the beginning. And I know that together, we will win this fight. "
She said that despite losing the political race for the office of New York governor, she wasn't discouraged but rather inspired to fight on.
"I hope you are too. We have fundamentally changed the political landscape in this state," she added.
Nixon with 230,000 votes lost to Cuomo, who had around 445,000 votes. She is well known for appearing in the movie 'Sex and the City'. (ANI)
