Washington D.C. [USA], July 24 (ANI): English-Irish Pop band 'One Direction' is celebrating its eighth anniversary.
In a series of tweets using the hashtag #8yearsofOneDirection, the band's official Twitter account tweeted lyrics of their hit tracks.

Band members Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan also took to Twitter to thank their fans.

However, Band member Harry Styles and former member Zayn Malik did not post about the anniversary.
The London-based band was formed in July 2010 after finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor. The band has since dropped five successful albums. (ANI)
