Washington D.C. [USA], Feb 22 (ANI): American rapper Offset opened up about his relationship with rapper and wife Cardi B following their brief split and recent reconciliation.
E! News cited a recent Esquire interview, where the rapper while talking about his relationship said that they are taking things slowly.
"It's been good. We're being more open to each other, raising our baby and taking things slowly," he explained.
While the 27-year-old artist continues to work on his marriage with Cardi, he is also focusing on being a positive role model for their daughter Kulture, as well as his three other children from his previous relationships.
The rapper also reflected upon how his new solo album, which comes out today/Friday, was shaped by his kids.
"I cried to myself while I was doing this album 'cause I was talking about my story and my kids," he said.
"When I did a song, I started getting memories of my grandma, my struggles, my partner that was killed, the thoughts I had while I was incarcerated, and my kids' faces were there in my head. I love my kids, this is who I do it for,” he added.
Cardi also supported her husband’s new song which drops tonight and shared a picture of Offset with his children on her Instagram account. She captioned it as, “Father of 4 drop at midnight!”
Rumours of reconciliation between Offset and Cardi started when the two were spotted together in Puerto Rico in December 2018. Earlier this month, the couple made it clear that they are back together by showing some PDA at the 2019 Grammys, which they attended together.
Cardi, who won a Grammy for her album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ this year, accepted the award with her husband by her side.
The couple secretly tied the knot in September 2017, and they welcomed Kulture in July 2018. However, Cardi announced her split in first week of December, 2018 due to rumours of Offset’s infidelity surfaced online. The couple reunited in Puerto Rico for Christmas. (ANI)
