The 'Spinning Around' hit maker took to social media to usher in her 50th birthday, writing, "And so a new decade begins. How thankful I am for the opportunities life has afforded me. 50..... Let's go!"

One day before her birthday, the singer took to Instagram to share a throwback photo as she reflected on her breast cancer battle.
"This decade also bought the challenge of breast cancer. With the help of family, friends, medical teams and of course all of you, we made it through," she wrote.
