`Dead & Company` postpone show after John Mayer`s emergency appendectomy

Washington D.C. [USA], Dec 6 (ANI): John Mayer's band 'Dead & Company' had to postpone a show on Tuesday after member and Grammy-award winning musician John Mayer was admitted to the hospital.
Mayer was hospitalised on Tuesday for an emergency appendectomy.
The band announced the news on their official Instagram account.
"Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed. All tickets for the December 5 show will be honored for the rescheduled date. Information on the rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible. Should ticketholders choose to seek a refund, they will be available at point of purchase," read the post.
Mayer's bandmates were quick to wish the guitarist well on social media.
