'Superheroes' rally behind terminally ill fan

New Delhi [India], Mar. 27 (ANI): Some of the biggest superheroes of the Marvel cinematic Universe have answered a call of a terminally ill fan.

American journalist, Shannon Bream, took to Twitter and relayed a message from a dying boy. His last wish was to receive a greeting from of the Avengers.

The 47-year-old posted, "Need your help Twitterverse - trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he want is a greeting from one of the Avengers. If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!"

Since then, a bevy of 'superheroes' offered their services to the little fan.

Replying to Bream, Chris Evans, the 'Captain America' of Marvel universe, tweeted, "Happy to! DM me".

Ryan Reynolds, though not an Avenger, but nonetheless a famous superhero of 'Deadpool' of the same name, offered his services in his trademark tongue-in-cheek style.

He wrote, "I'm more of a "Reserve Avenger". But happy to help. DM me".

Paul Bettany, who formerly voiced J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movies and now plays Vision, also answered the call - identifying himself as "the purple one."

He wrote, "I'm the purple one. DM me."

Actor Don Cheadle, who plays Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes / War Machine in Marvel Universe, offered his services as well.

The Wong, Benedict Wong, also tweeted his support, "Hello Shannon , please DM . Best B ???????".
