Washington [US], June 19 (ANI): Paramount Pictures has unveiled the spine-chilling teaser trailer for 'Smile 2,' the highly anticipated sequel directed by Parker Finn, known for his breakout horror hit in 2022.
Scheduled to hit theatres on October 18, the film promises to deliver another round of hair-raising terror following its predecessor's success.

The trailer hints at escalating horrors as Skye becomes plagued by eerie encounters with unsettling faces, culminating in a spine-chilling struggle against forces from her dark past.
Director Parker Finn, who also wrote the screenplay, returns to expand the universe established in his previous film 'Smile,' which grossed over USD 217 million worldwide, according to Deadline.
The original film, inspired by Finn's award-winning short 'Laura Hasn't Slept,' marked his feature directorial debut and garnered acclaim for its gripping narrative and terrifying imagery.
Joining Naomi Scott in 'Smile 2' are Kyle Gallner, Lukas Gage, Rosemarie DeWitt, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Raul Castillo, Dylan Gelula, and Ray Nicholson.
The production team includes Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner, and Robert Salerno, alongside Finn himself, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
The first 'Smile' centred on Dr Rose Cotter, portrayed by Sosie Bacon, a therapist haunted by supernatural occurrences after a traumatic incident with a patient.
The film's success propelled Finn into a first-look deal with Paramount, setting the stage for the eagerly awaited sequel.
Lukas Gage, reflecting on the intensity of the filming process, shared insights into the sequel's production, highlighting its visceral impact on the cast and crew.
