Olivia Munn sarcastically toasts 'good guys' at Critics Choice awards

Washington D.C. [U.S.A], January 12 (ANI): Everyone knew that the #MeToo movement and #TimesUp movement will be something that people at Critics` Choice awards will be referring to and host Olivia Munn took a different approach to address the matter.

According to Entertainment Weekly, took the stage with Niecy Nash for a skit titled "Toast to the Good Guys".

Olivia started, "At this time, my friend Niecy Nash and I would like to make a toast to all the good guys in Hollywood. I'd like to raise a glass to that studio executive who had me meet him in the studio conference room, instead of his actual hotel room."

Munn and Niecy Nash also raised a glass for that famous actor who "didn't treat her like crap after she said she didn't want to get drinks with him after the show."

'Way to be regular human beings,' Olivia deadpanned.

This ironic toast was made in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal that rocked Hollywood.

Niecy then offered another toast saying, "Thank you to all the men for speaking up at the Golden Globes", to which, he replied, "They didn't actually say much there."

Then, Munn mocked Wahlberg, who was reportedly paid USD 1.5 million for the reshoots on Ridley Scott's film, while his costar Michelle Williams made less than USD 1,000.

She noted, "I do want to say thank you to the producers for paying Niecy and I the same amount of money and Mark Wahlberg 1 million dollar. He took a pay cut, so that's really nice and generous of him. Thank you so much."

Olivia then offered another toast "to all the mommas that raise them. To you, too".

And Twitter was lit after the monologue:

A user tweeted, "This toast to the "good guys" omggg I'm YELLING."

"Toast to the good guys hahahahahahahahahah. Loving the irony," tweeted the another user.

Another user tweeted, "No lie, that Olivia Munn / Niecy Nash skit was genuinely funny, and also genuinely sharp."

The Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced on January 3 that Munn would host their annual gala. (ANI)
