Excessive public interest led to breakup with Pattinson: Kristen Stewart
WashingtonD.C, Aug. 18 (ANI): American actress Kristen Stewart recently opened up about her affair with 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson and said that their relationship became difficult because excessive public interest was involved in it. The 26-year-old actress during an interaction with 'T Magazine' said, "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn't real life anymore. And that was gross to me," reports E!Online. The 'Cafe Society' star, who dated Pattinson on-and-off from 2008 until 2014 further said, "While I never want to hide who I am or hide anything I'm doing in my life. I also doesn't want to become a part of a story for entertainment value." However, she has been off late showing a lot of PDA and has been more open about her fling with former personal assistant Alicia Cargile. Admitting that dating women has given her an encouraging reason to be more upfront about her love life, Stewart revealed her relationship with Cargile for the first time in July. "I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don't want to seem like I'm protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people," she shares. (ANI)
