Chance the Rapper pays 'SNL' tribute to President Obama's last Christmas in White House
Washington D.C. [USA], Dec. 19 (ANI): In the latest sketch of 'Saturday Night Live', host Chance the Rapper and Kenan Thompson channeled hip hop group 'Run-DMC' to celebrate President Barack Obama's last Christmas in the oval office. With some inspiration from the group's classic 'Christmas in Hollis' the duo brought out all the bells and whistles for a performance of 'Jingle Barack' which was a final farewell to the outgoing commander-in-chief, reports Us magazine. "We still got Barack / So you know what that means / We shooting some hoops in high-waist jeans," rapped the 23-year-old singer, alongside Thompson, "So, 'tis the season / Let's spread some cheer / It's the last Christmas with Barack still here." "This year I bought four Christmas trees / Stockpiled all the Home Alone DVDs," Chance continued, "I got batteries, canned food, everything I need / There will probably never be another Christmas Eve / Binge-drinking eggnog like I don't care / Imma hurt myself before we lose Obamacare / Say goodbye to Barack / Say goodbye to December / Before a new holiday called 'Regular Winter.'" The skit ended with a clip of the 55-year-old president dropping the microphone at his final White House Correspondents' Dinner earlier this year. 'SNL' airs on Saturdays only on NBC. (ANI)
