Celebs pay tribute to their dads on Father's Day
New Delhi [India], June 19 (ANI): It's Father's Day in the U.S. today and Hollywood celebrities are posting lovely messages on social media to wish their dads. Celebrities like Hugh Jackman, Matt Bomer, Sir Paul McCartney and others took to their social media accounts and showered love to their super-dads. Here are some wishes from the celebs: 'Logan' star Hugh Jackman took to Twitter and wrote, "Happy Father's Day to all." Pop-sensation Miley Cyrus also wished his father on the special occasion and tweeted, "Happy Daddy's Day to my #1 Dude! @billyraycyrus Love you so much." "Happy Daddy's Day with love from me and Jimmy Mac," tweeted legendary singer Sir Paul McCartney. 'Magic Mike' star Matt Bomer also offered wishes by writing, "Happy Father's Day to all those Dads out there doing their best. Love you Dad! #FathersDay." Actress Jessica Biel shared a long post on Instagram and paid a tribute to his dad and Justin Timberlake, "To all the dads out there, including mine, who selflessly give their time and love to their families, I appreciate and salute you. And to my beloved husband, my adventure companion, my road dog, who works tirelessly for THIS family and gives of himself energetically and spiritually every day, I am eternally grateful for you and your love. As Silas likes to say, 'you are so much cool.' I love you to the moon and back."
While Father's Day is usually celebrated on the third Sunday of June, several countries such as Italy, Croatia, Spain and Portugal celebrate it on March 19. However, the first Father's Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910 officially. (ANI)
