Alec Baldwin tired of playing Trump on SNL?
London [UK], Mar. 8 (ANI): After impersonating President Donald Trump with a fake tan and red tie on NBC's sketch show "Saturday Night Live", American actor and comedian Alec Baldwin has said that he doesn't think audiences can take it much more. The 58-year-old told 'Extra'-an American television programme, that he thinks viewers may get tired of his portrayal of President Trump on "Saturday Night Live." Baldwin did his debut as President Trump in October during the general elections, signalling that his time as the commander in chief will be coming to an end soon, reports CNN. "His policies aside, which you can hate, I thought he would have just relaxed," he said. "The maliciousness of this White House has people worried. ... That's why I'm not going to do it much longer, the impersonation, I don't know how much more people can take it," the actor stated. Baldwin adds: "Trump just overwhelmingly lacks any sportsmanship, he remains bitter and angry, and you just want to look at him and go, 'You won!'" It's not clear how long 'SNL' plans to have Baldwin play Trump. The show was originally supposed to last through the election. The comedian may irritate the President, but he has surely given "SNL" a ratings bump. The comedy show averages 10.6 million viewers an episode if you include people who watch within the week, according to NBC -- the show's biggest audience in 22 years. (ANI)
