'Gossip Girls' creators to take up adaptation of young adult novel
London, Aug. 7 (ANI): Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the creators of the much-acclaimed 'Gossip Girl', have for their next project locked down a deal with Netflix to develop '13 Minutes', an adaptation of a young adult novel by Sarah Pinborough. The plot that revolves around a teenage girl, who attempts to solve her own murder, bears a resemblance to Pretty Little Liars, reports The Independent. However, based on the past evidences it is seen that young novel adaptations could not do pretty well with the audience. The 'Final Hunger Games' film made from the adaptation of Mockingjay in 2015 was the least successful of the franchise. (ANI)
