Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya makes comeback on Twitter
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 29 (ANI): Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, whose Twitter account was suspended last week following his offensive comments against some female users, has made his return to the micro-blogging site. Talking to ANI about his comeback, the singer said, "It's because of us that Twitter gets followers, not the other way round. But people who don't have any followers are running Twitter, who have made it a platform to voice out their opinions." "I know many users who abuse a person left, right, and centre but still their accounts are never suspended. What I said was just 'Besharam Budhia' or supported Paresh Rawal on his tweet regarding Arundhati Roy..and still my account was suspended," he added. Abhijeet was accused of harassing JNU student leader Shehla Rashid with "inappropriate" and "insulting" language. His tweet targeting her was reported by various users after which the account was suspended. The 58-year-old singer re-joined the micro-blogging site with a new unverified account on Monday and posted a video. In the video, a defiant Abhijeet alleged that people are trying to 'curb' his voice. He added that he will denounce those people who criticize the country and the Indian Army. "I have started this new Twitter account till my verified account is not active again. You can only follow me on this account the rest are fake. They are causing me trouble. Boliye jai hind, bharat mata ki jai. Vande Matram. I am back. We will together eliminate all those who raise their voice against the country,"

#VandeMatram
??
