SelGo 'relieved' Justin Bieber's tour dates clash with AMAs

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 11 (ANI): Looks like Selena Gomez is considering a return to the 'American Music Awards' mainly because former boyfriend Justin Bieber will not be there. A source told HollywoodLife.com that the 24-year-old singer "relieved" that Justin has tour dates on the night of the AMAs and so she is considering a massive return to the spotlight during the award show. "With Justin unlikely to make an appearance at the show there is less stress surrounding the event for Selena," added the source. The 'Same Old Love' singer is also up for several big awards including 'Favorite Female Artist' in the Pop/Rock category and 'Artist of the Year' while Bieber is nominated in nearly every major category and expected to dominate. "Even though Selena will always love Justin, it does make things easier for her knowing her ex-boyfriend will likely not be there. She is flattered that she has been nominated and is consulting with her family and doctors about whether or not getting back in front of a crowd and cameras is a healthy decision," the insider revealed. Earlier this year, Gomez had cancelled the European leg of her world tour after deciding to focus on her health and well-being. Reportedly, she has been staying at a facility in Tennessee while dealing with issues related to lupus, including anxiety, panic attacks and depression as cited in her letter to fans telling them she was taking time off.
