Lyricist Irshad Kamil collaborates with music maestro A. R. Rahman

A revered name in the film and music fraternity, Irshad has penned lyrics for many box office hits and won major awards. Irshad Kamil's long list of achievements includes being a published poet, the recipient of major film awards, lyricist for hit feature films such as 'Tamasha', 'Jab We Met', 'Rockstar' and 'Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani'. His journey began with writing scripts for the small screen and his first major feature film break came in 2009. Today he has worked with leading directors such as Imtiaz Ali, Anand L. Rai and many more. Legendary music maestro and co-founder of Qyuki A. R. Rahman and Irshad Kamil have a long-standing alliance which has resulted in hugely popular albums like 'Rockstar', 'Raanjhanaa' and 'Highway'. 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is the latest partnership to be added to this list. The biopic reflects the true essence of the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
