Katy Perry's 'head-on-platter' prank takes 'Bon Appetit' to next level
New Delhi [India], May 19 (ANI): Looks like, Katy Perry is leaving no stone unturned to promote her latest single 'Bon Appetit.' The 32-year-old singer teamed up with Vanity Fair's Derek Blasberg to surprise some guests at the Whitney Museum in New York City for 'Derek Does Stuff With a Friend.' In the video published by Vanity Fair's YouTube account, the 13-time Grammy nominee is seen going undercover as an art exhibit for a prank, wherein Blasberg has to lure attendees into a room for a video art installation. "This is not one of the most unusual situations I've met someone in," the 'Roar' hit-maker said as staff placed fruit around her neck on a serving platter. "Ready to punk some b**ches?" "So, this artist's name is Kathryn Hudson," Derek said as he guided his first group of guests into the installation, adding "This is a one-time, site specific installation. It's only happening this afternoon." Guests entered a small room furnished with a table covered with a checkerboard tablecloth, in the centre of which was a platter holding what appeared to be a model of a human head . The punchline came when Perry suddenly popped her eyes open and spoke, startling the puzzled art lovers. The pop singer has made a number of fun appearances to promote her new single and upcoming album Witness. Last month she surprised guests in Time Square with cherry pies. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RtHKAykdByc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (ANI)
