Wishes pour in for film director Karan Johar as he turns 48

New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): As the country remains under lockdown, wishes poured in for film director, producer Karan Johar who ringed in his 48th on Monday.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Anushka Sharma, Kajol, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday and others took to social media to wish the 'Student of The Year' director.
Actor Sonam Kapoor posted two picture with the 'I Hate Luv Storys' producer on Instagram and in both the pictures, Johar is seen kissing Kapoor on the cheeks.
"Happy happy birthday darling @karanjohar my fellow Gemini , who is as fashion obsessed and has film running through his blood like me. Can't wait to celebrate you and give you a big kiss and hug. Love you" she wrote in the caption.
'Student of the Year 2' actor Ananya Panday also made sure that she wishes the producer who launched him in the film industry by posting a picture with him on Instagram story.
"Happy Birthday to the best of the best @Karanjohar love u loads," she wrote along with the picture.
'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actor Anushka Sharma wished the director by posting a picture with him on her Instagram story and wrote, "Happy Happpppyy Happiest to you and your legendary pout. Hope you both enjoy each other's company in good health, love and happiness."
Actor Bhumi Pednekar too posted a picture of herself hugging the birthday boy while he is seen kissing her on her head to wish him on his birthday.
"Here's wishing one of the kindest, smartest and loved super human @karanjohar a very very happy birthday I adore you kjo and I hope this year is full of all things beautiful for you," she wrote in the caption.
Actor Kajol Devgn took to Twitter and posted a picture of herself with the 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' director and wrote, "Happy Birthday @karanjohar. Wishing u a hugely virtually populated birthday! Since unpopulated is the trend currently."
'Dhadak' actor Janhvi Kapoor posted a picture of herself hugging Karan Johar on Instagram stories and wrote, "@karanjohar Happy Birthday to the coolest! Love u."
Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha in a series of tweets wished the film director and also remembered his father Yash Johar on the occasion.
"Warm & happy birthday wishes for a director, producer, multi talented successful, filmmaker @karanjohar. His father, the late #YashJohar was a fine human being & one of the most admired personalities in the film industry," he tweeted.
"Karan has carried forward his father's goodwill with sincerity & dedication. Karan, may you be blessed with joy, love happiness & wonderful years ahead. Happy birthday," his tweet further read.
Others who wished the film director on his 48th birthday include actor Kareena Kapoor, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, film producer Bhushan Kumar and others. (ANI)
