Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 01 (ANI): Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to marry Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja on May 8.
The wedding is set to take place in Mumbai.
An official statement released by both the Kapoor and Ahuja families on Tuesday confirmed the wedding date.
"The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja," read the official statement.
The confirmation came amid rumours about Neerja actor's wedding had been doing rounds on social media.
The so-called rumour mill began operating last week after Sonam's Mumbai home was spotted all decked up with festive lights.
Reportedly, choreographer Farah Khan and Karan Johar were also spotted at Anil Kapoor's residence on Friday, as the two celebrities were said to be organising some functions over there. (ANI)
