Hrithik Roshan wishes his fans 'Happy Chhath Puja'

New Delhi [India], October 28 (ANI): Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to wish his fans on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja.

"Every year I would see huge devotional crowds on d beach. This year I understand d significance of chatt puja better!Happy chat puja 2 u all," he wrote.

The 'Kaabil' actor who resides beachside in Mumbai shared to have witnessed huge devotional crowds on the beach every year but he admitted that this year he understood the significance of the festival better.

Hrithik is currently preparing to play a Bhojpuri character for the first time on celluloid. As part of his prep for the film, the actor is gaining a deeper understanding of the Bhojpuri language, culture and festivities.

He will portray the role of Anand Kumar, a mathematician who trained 30 deserving, economically backward students for the most prestigious exams of IIT each year with commendable success rate.

The biopic will be directed by Vikas Bahl. (ANI)
