Hrithik Roshan to romance Vaani Kapoor in Yash Raj's next

New Delhi [India], October 12 (ANI): Yash Raj Films had come up with a big announcement on the birth anniversary of Late Yash Chopra, wherein it announced a new film starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead, but the female lead was kept under wraps.

Now, the makers have revealed the female lead of the film and it's none other than Vaani Kapoor.

The official Twitter page of the studio made the announcement with a note in which director Siddharth Anand is talking about Vaani, stating, "While the film is primarily Hrithik vs Tiger, there is only one girl in the film who is opposite Hrithik. I was looking for young and fresh energy in the casting and I have found that in Vaani Kapoor."

The 'Kaabil' star returns to Yash Raj Films after 11 years post the blockbuster 'Dhoom 2', while this is Tiger's first film with the studio giant.

As soon as the announcement was made last month, Tiger, who is known to be a big fan of Hrithik, said, "Sir @iHrithik. You are my Guru. But you should know when the game changes. #HrithikVsTiger (sic)."

To this, Hrithik replied, "A Guru will always have that one trick, he doesnt teach his student. @iTIGERSHROFF #HrithikVsTiger (sic)."

This is the first time Hrithik and Tiger are collaborating for a film.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the flick is slated to release on January 25, 2019. (ANI)
