New Delhi [India], July 25 (ANI): Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has released the winning anthem of the year from his upcoming movie 'Gold'.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar and sung by Daler Mehndi, the energetic song is written by Javed Akhtar and the lyrics of the same are both inspiring and motivational.
Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, "Here's the winning anthem of this year, #GharLayengeGold."



The song is a perfect amalgamation of struggle, hard work, and determination. It essays the encounters and barriers faced by Tapan Das and his team on their journey, which led to free India's first Gold and is sure to evoke your inner patriot.
The sports drama, starring the 'Rustom' actor, takes the audience back in time to witness the struggle of a team to make the nation proud.
The upcoming flick will release this Independence Day, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Free India's first gold medal at the 1948 Olympics.
The film boasts of an ensemble cast including Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh, and Sunny Kaushal, among others.
'Gold' which marks the debut of TV sensation Mouni Roy on the big screen, is slated to release this Independence Day (August 15). (ANI)
