New Delhi [India], Dec 27 (ANI): The trailer of 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' takes you on a beautiful and refreshing journey of love and relationships and will definitely leave you wanting for more!
The flick brings the real-life father-daughter duo of Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor together on screen for the first time ever, but there's more to it! This one is not a typical Bollywood love story.

Featuring Sonam, Anil, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla, the trailer is convincing and heart-touching. It not only promises to bring back the old charm of romance but also stays relevant to the current times and shows how relationships have changed over the years. It will definitely leave a deep impact on the audience as it reminds one to stop being judgemental about other people's 'love preferences'.
The trailer gives insights into different relationships. It begins with Rajkummar as the narrator of a play who tells the story of the time he fell in love with a girl, played by Sonam.
Then the trailer shows how her family is looking for a suitable man for her as they have misunderstood her friendship with Rajkummar as love. And while there are several good men whom she meets, she isn't ready to get married to any of them. Sonam then makes a revelation, something that causes her family to turn against her. Bits from the trailer shows two women being torn apart, hinting that she might have fallen in love with a girl.
The makers of the movie have also used the hashtag #LetLoveBe which hints at the unexpected love story and how love should be free from discriminatory labels of caste, creed and sex.
The makers of the film had released a poster on Anil's birthday, featuring Sonam with her daddy dearest, perfectly depicting the emotional bond of a father and daughter. Earlier, the makers had also released the teaser of the romantic drama and a few character posters.
The movie is set in the backdrop of Punjab and revolves around a love story filled with 'syaapa'.
