New Delhi, [India], Oct 12 (ANI): For the first time, audiences will get to see a hate story between the two alleged lovers in reel life, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on the big screen.
While we have seen the two play lovers on screen in 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela', which was a very passionate love story between the two, it will be very interesting to now see a hate story between the two in their upcoming release, 'Padmavati'.
Deepika will be seen playing world's most beautiful woman, Rani Padmini and Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Allaudin Khilji.
As history has it, Rani Padmini is the object of Allaudin Khilji's obsession as he wanted to get her as he had heard a lot about her beauty but they were never romantically involved.
Rani Padmini, along with her other companions committed Jauhar, to protect their honour when Allaudin Khilji came to get her.
After showcasing such a sizzling chemistry in 'Ram Leela', it will be very exciting to see them at warring ends on the silver screen.
The first look of the actors garnered immense appreciation with Deepika's unibrow being a highlight.
The trailer which was released only a few hours ago has created a rage on the internet and audience just can't get over the beautiful trio of Deepika- Shahid-Ranveer.
Padmavati will mark Deepika's third collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, previously both had collaborated on successful films like 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani' and is slated to hit the theatres on December 1. (ANI)
