Dwarka (Gujarat) [India], April 6 (ANI): Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, expressed her pride and joy as her youngest son, Anant Ambani, completed a 170-kilometre padayatra (foot pilgrimage) from Jamnagar to Dwarka in the early hours of Sunday.
Anant arrived at the Dwarkadhish Temple on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi, ahead of his 30th birthday on April 10.
Nita Ambani said that she feels proud of her youngest son for completing his spiritual journey at the Dwarkadheesh temple in Dwarka.
Speaking to ANI, Nita Ambani said, "As a mother, it's a very proud feeling to see my youngest son Anant complete this padyatra to this divine place of Dwarkadhish. For the last 10 days, all the youngsters who have joined Anant's padyatra have been spreading our culture. I only pray to Dwarkadhish to give strength to Anant."

Anant's wife, Radhika Merchant, opened up about her husband's decision to undertake the 170 km padyatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka. She said that it was Anant's wish to go on a padyatra after their wedding.
While speaking to ANI, Radhika said, "Today, it's Anant's 30th birthday. It was his wish that he would do this padyatra after our wedding. We feel proud that we are celebrating his birthday here today. I thank all those who blessed him for his padyatra to be successful."

On the final day of his padayatra, Anant Ambani was joined by his wife, Radhika Merchant, and mother, Nita Ambani.
On the final day of the journey, Anant was joined by Nita Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Speaking at the culmination of his yatra, Anant expressed deep gratitude to Lord Dwarkadhish and all those who supported him along the way.
Speaking at the culmination of his yatra, Anant expressed deep gratitude to Lord Dwarkadhish and all those who supported him along the way and said, "See, it's my own spiritual journey. I started this by taking the name of God and will end it by taking his name. I want to thank the Lord Dwarkadheesh. I am grateful for the people who joined me on my spiritual journey. I am joined by my wife and mother, who will reach soon."
Along the way, Ambani has encountered an attitude of reverence and goodwill--some have walked along with him a part of the way in solidarity, others have given his pictures of the presiding deity Lord Dwarkadhish and still others have come over with their horses to get their pictures taken.
On this spiritual padayatra, Anant has been chanting the Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand, and the Devi Stotra on his way to Dwaraka.
During the padyatra, Anant reportedly held a hen while instructing someone off-camera to ensure all the birds were saved and taken care of as rescued animals.
The younger son of Reliance Industries' Mukesh Ambani is known for his deep love for animals and his "Vantara" wildlife preservation project, and he has also publicly expressed his strong belief in Sanatan.
Some of India's most iconic religious destinations are his regular haunts and the beneficiaries of his munificence--Badrinath, Kedarnath, Kamakhya, Nathdwara, Kalighat and the Kumbh Mela, to name just few.
There is also a business to run--he oversees the world's largest refinery and directs the country's biggest new energy transformation projects. Then, there is the Vantara animal refuge he founded, which was inaugurated by no less a person than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Ambani is showing that he can walk in the footsteps of a holy spiritual tradition while also creating the future in the world of business. (ANI)
