New Delhi [India], Oct 3 (ANI): Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is all geared up for his upcoming movies-- 'Andhadhun' and 'Badhaai Ho', recently opened up about how he juggled up with the two extremely different roles.
The 34-year-old star will portray the role of a blind pianist in 'Andhadhun' while in 'Badhaai Ho', the actor will play the role of a guy in his 20s, whose mother gets pregnant at an older age.
Talking to ANI, the actor revealed that playing a blind pianist was the most challenging character for him.
"Andhadhun is the most challenging film and character. For playing the role, first and foremost I had to learn how to play the piano and then how to emulate gestures of a blind pianist," he said.
Earlier, it was reported that the 'Vicky Donor' star tried an unusual way of reading scripts by blindfolding him. Whenever he had to focus on his character, he blindfolded himself and tried to act as a blind person on the sets of the film.
This is the first time Ayushmann is experimenting with his role and will be seen in a thriller mystery film, which has enhanced the excitement among the masses.
However, Ayushmann's character in 'Badhaai Ho' has been a sleepwalk for him as he stated that it was really easy. "That is my zone. I have portrayed these kinds of characters earlier, "he added.
Directed by Sriram Raghwan, 'AndhaDhun' revolves around the story of a blind piano artist and facades of his love story. It also features Radhika Apte and Tabu in a pivotal role. The flick is slated to hit the theatres on October 5.
On the other hand, 'Badhaai Ho' is very real and easy to relate to. What is funny for others is a matter of serious concern for the family. Also starring Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Surekha Sikri, Gajraj Rao, and Sheeba Chaddha, the quirky-comedy is slated to release on October 19. (ANI)
