Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 2 (ANI): Ameesha Patel thanked director Anil Sharma for attributing ‘Gadar-2’s’ success to Tara-Sakeena's love story.
Anil took to X and thanked the audience for their love.
Anil dropped a poster of Gadar 2 with new box office figures and wrote on X, "Tara sakeena ka pyar. sabse pyara. sabke dil mein rahane wala (Tara and Sakeena's love is the cutest and one that resides in everyone's hearts). an eternal love story continue to touch people’s heart 4th week of Friday.5.20 cr. thanx for your love audiences."


 
Ameesha took to X to retweet Anil's post. She also responded to Anil's post,  writing, "So glad @Anilsharma_dir … yes .. TARA +SAKINA = GADAR !!! Ur thought related to this post is bang on!! Audiences love is great for TARA N SAKINA."


‘Gadar 2’ continues to achieve new heights as the movie has now become the third highest-grossing Hindi film.
Earlier, Sunny Deol expressed his gratitude by recording a video while on a flight. He just took to his Instagram handle and thanked moviegoers for showering love. In the video, Sunny said “First and foremost thank you all. I never imagined you guys would like Gadar 2 so much. We have crossed 400 crores because of you all.”

Helmed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2' is a sequel to the hit film which was released in theatres in 2001. In the film. Sunny Deol played the role of Tara, a truck driver, while Ameesha Patel played Sakina in the film that was set during the partition of India in 1947.
'Gadar 2' follows Tara Singh as he ventures across the border in a daring attempt to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan. (ANI)
