Trump Jr or Erik likely to visit India by June: Trump Towers Indian partner Kalpesh Mehta

New Delhi [India], 16 April (ANI): Donald Trump Jr or Erik Trump, son of US President Donald Trump is expected to visit India to see the development of Trump Tower in Gurugram, said Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers, on the sidelines of the launch of a second Trump Tower in Gurugram in partnership with Smart World Developers.
Donald Trump Jr previously visited India in 2018 and 2022.
Confirming the upcoming visit, Pankaj Bansal, promoter of Smart World Developers, said, "We are working on the schedule, and hopefully within two months, Donald Trump Jr. or Eric Trump will be coming to India to see the Trump Tower in Gurugram."
"He will also review the architecture, design, and project details of Trump Residences which we launched today," Bansal added.
Smartworld Developers and Tribeca Developers announced they will develop an ultra-luxury residential project in Gurugram under the 'Trump' brand with a total investment of around Rs 2,200 crore.
Bansal noted the strong demand for Trump properties in India: "When we launched the first Trump Tower in Gurugram, the price was Rs 16,500 per sqft, and today the resale price is Rs 35,000 per sqft."
M3M Group firm Smartworld Developers and Tribeca have launched the 'Trump Residences' project in Gurugram, comprising 298 units with a total saleable area of 12 lakh square feet.
This is the second Trump-branded residential project in Gurugram and the sixth project in India. M3M Group, which is developing the first Trump project in Gurugram, will start giving possession from this month.
"The total project cost will be around Rs 2,200 crore for this new Trump-branded project," Smartworld Developers co-founder Pankaj Bansal told reporters. He added that the project will be completed in five years.
Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers and the licensed Indian partner for Trump Towers projects was in the US for Donald Trump's inauguration as the President.
Kalpesh Mehta said: "Trump returns to Gurugram with a second project. This reflects the strength of the Gurugram market and also the partnership."
Bansal said the company is launching this project at Rs 27,000 per square foot, with prices ranging from Rs 8 crore to Rs 12 crore for an apartment.
The development will feature two 51-storey towers of approximately 200 meters in height.
Smartworld Developers will be responsible for constructing this project, while Tribeca Developers, the official representatives of the Trump brand in India, will lead the design, marketing, sales, and quality PMC (project management consultancy).
