Tomorrow's India Global Summit concludes in Seoul
New Delhi [India], Oct.7 (ANI): The Global Social India Foundation (GSIF) has announced the conclusion of Tomorrow's India Global Summit in Seoul. The four-day summit witnessed the participation of over 150 delegates including industry leaders, business experts and students from across the globe. The highlight of the summit was the announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between GSIF and Seoul Metropolitan City to promote business and trade relations between India and Korea. At Incheon, the grand event was inaugurated by Vikram Doraiswami, Indian Ambassador to Republic of Korea, HP Singh, Managing Director and Founder of Tomorrow's India Global Summit, Yoo, Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City and Lee, Kang-shin, Chairman of Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At Seoul, Dong-rok Suh, Deputy Mayor of Economic Planning, Seoul Metropolitan Government, was present for the inauguration along with Vikram Doraiswami and H.P. Singh. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Seoul Metropolitan City for signing the MoU with us. It is a part of our ethos to showcase India to the world and this effort is a part of the same endeavour. I am sure this partnership will help forge new and impactful business relations between the two nations," said H.P Singh. "This event, where many Indian leading enterprisers attend, will be a breakthrough in promoting India's competent businesses to enter into Seoul and many corporations based in Seoul to enter into India, and Seoul city will take swift follow-up measures to vitalize enterprises exchange and investment inducement between the two countries," said Suh, Dong-rok The event had a focused initiative to offer expansion and investment opportunities to Indian start-ups, MSMEs. Corporate businesses saw Bangalore-based Uber Diagnostics raise Rs. 1.5 crore in funding from global investors. The summit was filled with power packed panel discussions, speakers and presentations from the Seoul Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan Government, Gyeonggi Provincial Government and Surat Municipal Corporation. There were company showcased by Indian and Korean companies and industry specific business and government meetings in addition to the university visits for Indian students attending the summit. There were international showcases by various countries such as South Africa, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Republic of Indonesia. "I would also like to thank Uber diagnostics on receiving the funding. We are excited to be a part of this journey, which is why have announced that we will be opening up incubation centres for startups in India and internationally. I would also like to thank all our Indian and International delegates who came to attend the summit. It was amazing to see participants coming from various parts of the globe such as India, Korea, Ethiopia, Finland, Singapore, South Africa, Indonesia, Taiwan and Zimbabwe. I look forward to the next edition of the summit in Dubai" added Singh. Indian companies such as Tata Projects Limited, Kama Ayurveda, Avant Garde Innovations, Oxigen Services India Private Limited and Su-Kam Power Systems Limited were also felicitated during the four-day summit. Korea also launched an e-book on Digital India and Smart Cities. Tomorrow's India is a global initiative showcasing India's entrepreneurial strength and academic excellence within a cultural framework. The program aims to bring an integrated approach, focused on developing international inter-country collaborations in the fields of business, culture, and education. (ANI)
