New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): Tolexo, India's largest online marketplace for business goods and supplies has signed an MOU with Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam Pvt Ltd (MPLUN) to yield tremendous benefits to the state's MSMEs and help them leverage the extensive reach and tech infrastructure of the country's leading B2B e-commerce platform. The MoU was signed in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on July 17th. It incorporates promotion, marketing and distribution of goods manufactured by MSME units of Madhya Pradesh on Tolexo's online platform. The joining of hands between MPLUN and Tolexo will yield tremendous benefits to the state's MSMEs and will help them leverage the extensive reach and tech infrastructure of the country's leading B2B e-commerce platform. The MOU will open up new avenues for existing as well as prospective MSMEs and young entrepreneurs of the state to sell their products and services to a massive buyer base across the country. Tolexo will also provide the necessary back-end infrastructure, i.e. account management, customer care centers, order management systems for creating and maintaining a database of buyer and order details to assist MSME sellers in their smooth functioning. Tolexo plans to help MPLUN to evaluate the performance of the sellers by periodic information sharing which can be used to further align business practices. In more good news for the owners of these enterprises, Tolexo will offer marketing and selling services at rebated prices in order to enhance the propensity of MSMEs to explore the realm of online commerce. Serving as a significant step towards integrating the state's manufacturers with nation-wide marketplaces, Tolexo and MPLUN have entered into a Vendor Development Program. They will jointly hold awareness campaigns as well as workshops and seminars at industrial clusters established throughout the state to teach the MSME owners of the benefits of online marketing. These interactive sessions will also provide know-how regarding capacity building for the MSMEs and developing online product catalogues, customized product portfolios and better understanding of the virtual buyer. "This is an extremely significant milestone for Madhya Pradesh's MSME owners and for the B2B e-commerce eco-system in India at large. MPLUN and Tolexo share the same vision of empowering MSMEs to reach their full potential by leveraging technology and innovation," said Co-Founder Tolexo, Prashant Chauhan. We have already extended the benefits of our technology innovation and logistical support to over 7,000 sellers in India and are delighted to further bring MPLUN-empanelled businesses within the fold of this inclusive growth," added Prashant Chauhan.
