New Delhi [India], Mar 9 (ANI-NewsVoir): Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. (SAM and Co.) acted as legal counsel to SBI Capital Markets Limited, Deutsche Equities India Private Limited, ICICI Securities Limited and Edelweiss Securities Limited (collectively the "Seller's Brokers") in an offer for sale through the stock exchange mechanism (OFS) involving a sale of up to 11,168,139 equity shares of face value of RS. 10 each, representing five percent of the paid up equity share capital of Bharat Electronics Limited. The floor price for the equity shares was Rs. 1,498 and the OFS took place on February 22, 2017 and February 23, 2017.

Other advisors in the transaction were Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (Legal counsel to the Seller as to Indian Law), Dorsey and Whitney, LLP (International legal counsel to the Seller) and Jones Day (International legal counsel to the Seller's Brokers).
