New Delhi [India], Mar. 8 (ANI-NewsVoir): Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised in relation to sale of 57 percent stake of the pest control products and services business of Pest Control (India) Private Limited to a subsidiary of Rentokil Initial Plc. The M&A Team of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. was the Indian legal advisors to the sellers in the transaction (Pest Control (India) Private Limited, Anil Rao and his family). The team was involved in the structuring of the overall transaction and in the review, negotiations and finalisation of the transaction documents. The team was led by Jay Gandhi, Partner and included Kunal Mehta, Principal Associate; Arun Jerome, Principal Associate; Abhishek Parekh, Senior Associate, and Rayan Azmi, Associate. The parties involved in the transaction were Pest Control (India) Private Limited, Anil Rao and his family and a subsidiary of Rentokil Initial Plc (Counter Parties) Other advisors to the transaction were Ernst and Young (Ajay Shah, Paras Berawala) - Financial and Tax Advisors of the sellers; Greenberg Traurig, LLP - Offshore Legal Counsels of Rentokil Initial Plc and AZB & Partners - Indian Legal Counsels of Rentokil Initial Plc.
