RBI cancels certificate of registration of eight NBFCs

New Delhi [India], July 18 (ANI): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday cancelled the certificate of registration for the following eight non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

New Delhi [India], July 18 (ANI): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday cancelled the certificate of registration for the following eight non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The companies are as follows: 1-M/s Sehajpal Estates & Finance Pvt.ltd 2-M/s Dhanwan Leasing and Finance Company Ltd 3-M/s Esteem Investments Limited 4-M/s Deesha Tie-up Pvt. Ltd. 5-M/s City Commercial Investment Company Private Limited 6-M/s VVD Finance and Leasing Limited 7-M/s O T G Global Finance Limited 8-M/s Arihant Finvest LimitedRatan Deep Building, Dinesh Goswami Road, A. T. Road, Guwahati Following the cancellation of registration certificate, the apex bank notified that these companies cannot transact the business of a non-banking financial institution as laid down under clause (a) of Section 45-I of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
