NTPC pays interim dividend of Rs 2,952 crore for FY 2018-19

New Delhi [India], Feb 22 (ANI): State-owned power utility NTPC Ltd has paid an interim dividend of Rs 2,951.88 crore to the government for the financial year 2018-19.

New Delhi [India], Feb 22 (ANI): State-owned power utility NTPC Ltd has paid an interim dividend of Rs 2,951.88 crore to the government for the financial year 2018-19.
The dividend is 35.8 per cent of the company's paid-up equity share capital. This is the 26th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd has paid a dividend.
The RTGS advice for the transfer of Rs 1,739.61 crore to the government was presented to Power Minister R K Singh by NPTC Chairman and Managing Director Gurdeep Singh, said NTPC in a statement on Friday.
Among those present on the occasion were AK Bhalla, Secretary, Power, Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, Additional Secretary, Archana Agrawal, Joint Secretary, Thermal, Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor from the Ministry of Power, K Sreekant, Director, Finance, Saptarshi Roy, NTPC Director (Human Resources), AK Gupta, Director (Commercial), SK Roy, Director (Projects), Prakash Tiwari, Director (Operations) and Prasant Kumar Mohapatra, Director (Technical).
