nexGTv adds more diversity to its original content catalogue with 'Baaton Baaton Mein'

New Delhi [India], Dec 15 (ANI): Underlining its commitment to provide highly-relevant entertainment to its users, nexGTv, India's largest subscription-led video entertainment app, has acquired the worldwide digital telecast rights to an original short film, Baaton Baaton Mein. Created by Planet Vix, an independent film company, Baaton Baaton Mein is a suspense drama which revolves around a random nighttime conversation between a stranger and a depressed man planning to commit suicide. nexGTv subscribers around the world will be able to access the short film on its web and mobile platforms. Planet Vix was founded in 2007 by Vicky Khandpur, who has been associated with many Bollywood films like Devdas, Bhoot, Aitraaz, Race, Slumdog Millionaire, My name is Khan, etc. The company has bagged multiple awards for its productions, including its latest award-winning release called The Price. Named as one of the winners of the short film contest by UTV World Movies, the film has been showcased on many platforms. THE PRICE was aired on UTV World Movies in 2011, and was also one of the most viewed short movies on YouTube during 2013-14. By showcasing the talented film maker's brand new Baaton Baaton Mein on its platform, nexGTv aims to enrich the entertainment experience of its viewers and add more diversity to its extensive catalogue of offerings with fresh, original video content. "Indian viewers, today, are demonstrating a growing preference for fresh scripts with high quality content and a novel treatment. It is to meet this need that we have partnered with Planet Vix to acquire the worldwide digital telecast rights to Baaton Baaton Mein. We intend to curate more out-of-the-box content in the future in order to present our viewers around the world with the best that indie entertainment has to offer," said COO nexGTv, Abhesh Verma. The latest short film is made available as a part of the paid packages on nexGTv, and can be viewed seamlessly on its web and mobile platforms.
