Kartikeya Bhandari

New Delhi [India], Feb 7 (ANI): Livspace, India’s no.1 home interiors and renovation platform, today announced that Kartikeya Bhandari has been appointed as its first-ever Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, Kartikeya will lead Livspace’s overall brand, marketing and demand generation efforts and as the company gears to enter its next phase of growth and expansion.
Formerly, Bhandari was serving as Flipkart’s Senior Marketing Director where, among other projects, he led the marketing strategy and launch of the immensely successful Big Billion Days. Prior to Flipkart, he has worked with Nokia in multiple Sales and Marketing roles in both India and Finland. At Livspace, Bhandari, an IIM Calcutta alumnus, will be reporting into the company’s CEO, Anuj Srivastava.
His tasks will include building on the company’s success and spearheading its evolution into a brand of national and global repute. With newer markets, doubling its retail footprint and entering new product categories on the horizon, the company believes this to be an opportune time to bring a veteran marketing leader on board.
On joining Livspace Kartikeya said, “I am greatly impressed with what Livspace has achieved in such a short period of time. The company has truly disrupted the home design space. I am pleased to join such a talented team and I look forward to playing a role in growing the company and building the brand.” Commenting on the industry, he added, “Buying home interiors is a cumbersome, time-consuming process. Among other things, homeowners have to coordinate with multiple people and they face delays and budget overshoots. Livspace makes getting interiors easy. They not only offer end-to-end interiors but also lead the category in modular-only solutions. This opens up an endless gamut of possibilities for the brand and I believe there are a lot of exciting things that are on the anvil for Livspace. I am excited to be part of that journey with the company.”
Anuj Srivastava, CEO and Co-founder of Livspace said, “We are thrilled to welcome Kartikeya on board as our first CMO. This is a crucial time for the business as we are poised to take Livspace to its next phase of growth. Kartikeya’s vast experience in online retail and marketing will help us accelerate our brand goals.” Srivastava further added, “Within a span of 5 years, we have become one of the most loved and fastest growing home interiors brands in India and I’m confident that with Kartikeya’s addition to the team, we will further bolster our brand identity and cement our leadership in the home design space.” (ANI)
