Kissandhan disbursed agri-loans in six states in February

Kissandhan disbursed agri-loans in six states in February
New Delhi [India], Mar 7 (ANI): Wholly-owned subsidiary (WOS) of Sohan Lal Commodity Management Pvt. Ltd. (SLCM Group) Kissandhan Agri Financial services today released the loan disbursement report for month of February 2017. The WOS disbursed agri loans in February 2017 worth Rs. 47.73 crore in comparison to the same period last year i.e. Rs. 10.55 crore making it reach a mark of Rs. 819.97 crore as on 28th February, 2017. Majority of the loan disbursed in the month of February 2017 is on sugar, rice, black gram, mentha oil, lentil and yellow peas. Kissandhan disbursed loans against 25,806 storage receipts in comparison to 13,308 in February 2016. Releasing the latest figures of Kissandhan disbursement across India Sandeep Sabharwal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Sohan Lal Commodity Management said, "We have activated loan facility in Asia's largest agri market - Narela Mandi and also extended loan facility at Latur and Bikaner Mandi. We plan to empower agri-community by expanding the portfolio of agri loans of Kissandhan across the country to benefit the entire agri value chain." A total of 83 warehouses were used for storing the collaterals in February 2017 compared to 53 last year (+56.60 percent growth). This shows Sohan Lal Commodity Management's commitment towards Kissandhan, lending more and more warehousing facility for agri commodity based financing. Kissandhan covered 33 locations in six major agri states in the month Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal till February 2017. (ANI)
